Our journey so far
Forever Projects launched in 2015 and has quickly evolved into a dynamic and diverse fundraising community. To date, we’ve sent $1.75 million to fuel our mission in Tanzania. Growth has been almost purely organic, with only small steps taken with paid media etc.

An exciting new chapter: 2023 and beyond
We are looking for a Growth leader who can complement our team and amplify our impact. By extending our brand and content to a larger audience across an increased number of channels, we will grow our community and significantly accelerate our mission throughout 2023 and beyond.

Role Summary
Forever Projects is on the hunt for a strategic, yet savvy Growth Lead. Someone who is ready to supercharge a non-profit (though we think of ourselves as a startup!). Reporting to the founder, you will have the autonomy to build and own the marketing strategy, with oversight over budget and our creative team.

We are looking for a marketer who can identify, understand and create value for our key audience and make assertions on how to reach more people like them. This person will turn this data into outputs by working with our creative team to initiate, execute, and analyse new growth loops.

This kind of modern marketer embraces the tension between art and science, with a healthy dose of creative curiosity and an appetite for analytics. It’s someone who will take a risk once they have sufficient data regarding new/existing donors, content, and channels.

Our ideal candidate already possesses the above qualities and has experience applying them to generate demand across the funnel. You have a strategic vision, with the capacity to see the big picture as you make growth hypotheses. But just as importantly, you have an appetite to get into the weeds and execute, recognising the value of insights gained by being close to donors. And of course, you’re comfortable and skilled at collaborating cross-functionally, leading a small and agile team of contractors (design, copywriting, videography, and community management).

What you’ll do
Develop a B2C marketing strategy that grows our digital fundraising segments by a minimum of 50% YOY throughout 2023-24 (for context, we grew 30% YOY in FY20-21)

  • Set the annual growth strategy for marketing campaigns
  • Refine our target audience, personas and create segmentation frameworks
  • Develop and manage full-funnel experiments and optimise channel plans
  • Improve and own lead generation and acquisition tactics
  • Make data-driven decisions via experimentation and analytics frameworks
  • Find areas for improvement and optimisation across customer lifecycle journeys
  • Determine and manage the budget for creative and paid media
  • Research and integrate marketing tools
