Michael Pryor graduated from Dartmouth University in 1998 with a degree in Computer Science. After receiving his undergraduate degree, he started working in New York City for a hedge fund before joining an email startup, Juno Software. He and his colleague Joel Spolsky left and started Fog Creek Software together. Fog Creek Software was created to be a great place for developers to work and went on to build Stack Overflow with Jeff Arwood. Trello also came out of Fog Creek. Trello was created to give people structure to their life. It was first pitched at TechCrunch Startup Battlefield in 2011 and eventually raised a $10M venture round with Index Ventures. Michael was CEO of Trello until it was acquired by Atlassian in 2017 for $425M. Michael now serves as Head of Product for Trello at Atlassian and over 50 million people are signed up for Trello.
